Introduction

Networks were not originally and are not primarily a technology; instead they are a way of seeing the world that technologies can be built to mimic

-the Collective Intelligence Project

Networks are found holding together the physical world from the atoms binding to form molecules, to stars forming galaxies.

The Network Theory Applied Research Institute is based on the idea that we can best manage the world as a network, and the larger and more diverse it is the more intelligent and capable it will be.

NTARI researches collective intelligence (CI) human-based computation, and other forms of networking to test theories in the real world. Read a few of our inspirations below:

Vision

Our vision is to unite our species through measurable flows of matter, energy and obligation where everything and everyone is connected in a system they can contribute to but no one can control

Mission

We research existing theories on networking and apply them toward real-world organization. We alos participate in educating the public on network technology, and the social science surrounding it.

Goals

  • Provide active and passive opportunities for public engagement with network society

  • Make the resources and opportunities we organize accessible to anyone using the internet

Supporting Node and Network

We design our networks to grow through the development of individual nodes-- individuals, small groups, communities, areas of interest and obligations. As nodes mature through processing cycles, the network matures in its ability to respond as a collective

Our Role in Network Society

Where most organizations focus on academic research, NTARI applies theories to organize networks with real utility. We make forward thinking tangible, we make network society real

Where We Work

NTARI works across the internet helping network society to thrive wherever it emerges. We are a tax exempt nonprofit in the United States, which means all contributions are tax exempt. If you would like us to pursue this benefit in your country, please message us here
