Core Operations

NTARI's Core Operation begins with a membership to the Saint Mathews, KY Chamber of Commerce and a post office box. These afford the Institute: ​

  • Brand recognition on all community and business event signage, Chamber website and media

  • Logo recognition on all promotion materials including programs, invitations, signage and electronic media

  • Supporting sponsor for all paid events

  • Supporting Sponsorship for Inspire 

  • Presenting Sponsor at Annual Meeting

  • Four ads in The Chamber Weekly

  • Website ad for three months

  • Enhanced website listing

  • Logo on slide show at Business Luncheon and on the website

  • Booth at all paid special events

  • Table of 8 at Annual Meeting  Three tickets to each Business Luncheon

  • 3 tickets to each Inspire

  • Member spotlight and table at one Business Luncheon

  • Membership Investment Dues

  • A dedicated post office box address

From there, we focus on compliance, investing $980 /yr in bookkeeping and reporting. We maintain a full time grant writer and assistant at a cost of $120,199/yr. This includes a full time researcher and writer equipped with a Grantwatch subscription and training from Tracy Babler & Associates.

NTARI's administration is led by a research team focused on communications theory and information technology. They are assisted by a cross-disciplinary assistant researcher and the chief executive who is also charged by the board with the ongoing business of the institute. A human resources manager is charged with overseeing and reporting on all NTARI staff, including program directors and staff.

The research team and chief executive manage a budget of $20,000 /yr to conduct testing and $3,600 /yr for compliance research. Finally, the Institute's core staff and board of directors undergo Model-Based Systems Engineering Training at a cost of $3,999 /yr.
