Collaborative Planetary Development
The term collaborative planetary development was coined by friend of NTARI, Arthur Lemons III as an alternative to the science fiction term-- terraforming.
Network theory assumes that in creating the internet, humans replicated the fundamental structure of our brains and the physical universe-- a communicative, interconnected network of nodes in a universal "computer".

We test that assumption by studying the history of statecraft and attempting to establish better social algorithms based on better principles, like: decentralization, mutual access, ethical, not-for-profit data use, and more.

One of those assumptions is that humans already practice CPD, we are just really bad at it. Our goal with the Generous Technology Programs is to move funding toward developing our special natural intelligence-- the noosphere-- so we can be collectively wise enough to develop the geosphere and biosphere. It wont take a superman to make the next giant leap forward in the human story, it will take a planetary collaborative effort.

It is possible, we can do it.
